Mechanical Engineer
Clayton Services is searching for a Mechanical Engineer to join a thriving company in League City.
Job Type : Direct Hire
Pay Rate : $80,000-$100,000 / year

Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities :
- Design and develop shell and tube heat exchangers, bundles, and components
- Collaborate with engineering team to create innovative and efficient heat exchangers
- Participate in project planning and provide technical expertise to contribute to project completion
- Utilize AutoCAD and thermal rating software to create designs and sizing models
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of the design and development process
- Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge in heat exchanger technology
- Ensure all designs meet safety and quality standards
- Successfully complete projects on time and on budget
- Other duties as assigned
Mechanical Engineer Skills and Abilities :

- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
Mechanical Engineer Education and Experience :
- A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required
- 3+ years of relevant experience is required
- Experience working on and / or designing heat exchangers and pressure vessels is required
- Experience using PVelite, CodeCalc, HTRI, AutoCad, and RCS is highly desired
- Experience using Solidworks and Compress is required
