HumanEdge is looking to hire a Cardio-Vascular OR Nurse to work in one of Connecticut's largest health care systems.

Shift- Mix of 8 and 12 hour dayshift. ASAP Start 13 week contract, option to extend

Job Duties

• Assess patients condition before surgery

• Ensure that the Operating Room is prepared with all necessary supplies, implants, instrumentation, and equipment

• Keep the operating room sterilized

• Position the patient on operating table

• Pass medical instruments to the surgeons during operation

• Monitor patient’s vital signs

• Evaluate postoperative patients

Education

Graduate of a State approved and accredited School of Nursing.

Experience & Skills Required

2 years experience in Cardio vascular/peripheral vascular OR

Experience in academic medical center preferred

EPIC experience required

Certifications

Connecticut RN license or eligible

BLS (AHA)

ACLS (AHA)

Proof of right to work in the United States
