We are currently searching for a Content Marketing Specialist to join our small but mighty "Chateau Chic" marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategizing, executing and monitoring the success of original marketing content in our email, blog, website, newsletter, video, social media, digital advertising, and other platforms. This role manages our social media presence, looking for compelling ways to interact with audiences across multiple media platforms, and working in unison with the Director of Marketing to execute brand standards and digital marketing strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the creation, schedule management, and timely execution of social media posts that align with Company's brand identity and the strategic plans of the department and maximize viewership. Monitors incoming messages and engages with the audience and with influencers; recognizes trends and impacts, and reports on results.
- Oversee paid social media vendor team, communicating and managing a strategic content calendar that is consistent with in-house marketing efforts, providing instruction and assets as required.
- Create, maintain and update cross-channel content calendar in collaboration with Marketing team. Act as lead in content creation to execute on-brand campaigns that target intended demographics.
- Maintain Customer database; construct email templates and generate updated and accurate information from database to send email communications.
- Understand and implement SEO strategies to better position company optics and increase overall online presence.
- Capture and edit video, audio, and photo content for immediate and future use across multiple platforms.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to conceptualize email marketing content with the team and lead in the content creation to deliver the final concepts. Includes but not limited to photo capture and editing, video capture and editing, writing blog posts.
- Work with Director of Marketing to conceptualize and execute bi-monthly wine club newsletter and communication, creatively enhancing the communication to influence promotional responses and sales.
- Provide copywriting for blogs, newsletter, social media, website, email or other channels as needed.
- Originate on brand, high quality SMS text marketing content and other electronic communication to engage customers and promote Company's wine, wine products, and visitation experiences.
- Collaborate with marketing team to meet the content needs of Public Relations Vendors, writing or proofreading copies, providing assets, creating assets, updating assets or supporting partner relationships as needed.
- Support marketing team efforts on various administrative tasks and by pouring wines at outside functions as needed.
- Keep up to date on industry trends and best practices in marketing strategies that align with Company's brand and reputation; incorporate new insights into campaign strategies and execution.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing with a digital marketing concentration or equivalentMinimum of two years’ experience in a marketing role within a luxury goods or high-end sales environmentDemonstrated experience implementing content marketing strategies to drive engagement and visibilityExperience and expertise in multiple current social media platforms with an eye on newly emerging media platforms and trendsExpertise in photography & videography and editing with the capability to produce content in-houseExperience with data entry and data mining accuracy and efficiency within multiple platformsProficient in the use of a PC in a networked environment to include in MS Office products : Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPointKnowledge of wines, winemaking and / or wine cultureExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong interpersonal skills, builds rapport and inspires trustAbility to manage, to set goals and allocate resources to meet or exceed those goalsEffective in prioritizing high volume workloadCourteous and sensitive to the needs of customers and co-workersDisplays even temperament under stressful circumstancesAbility to function well individually and as part of a teamPresent a professional image when representing Domaine CarnerosThis position is eligible to participate in our DTC Incentive Plan. Although the majority of the workweek will require this role to be in-person at the office or at our winery, this role may work remotely from home 1 day per week.
