Financial Analyst

A hands-on Financial Analyst that compiles and analyzes financial information for the company, assist other departments and recommends areas for financial improvement.

Other tasks and duties may be required as directed.

• Compile and organize revenue and expense data, projections, and reports.
• Prepare financial information for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
• Assist with tracking the annual budget and updating monthly forecasts.
• Review financial data to identify basic trends, variances, and potential issues.
• Support other departments by gathering data related to cost control and risk tracking.
• Update and maintain forecast files and help communicate changes as needed.
• Review department expense reports for accuracy and alignment with budget guidelines.
• Maintain and update financial and operational metrics.
• Prepare charts, tables, and data summaries for presentations and reports.
• Assist with monthly SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations Planning) activities.
• Maintain and update Business Intelligence and Business Analytics tools and reports.

Qualification requirements include:

• Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Finance, Accounting, or related field. 2-4 years of experience in a standard cost manufacturing environment.
• Language Skills: Good command of the English language, both written and spoken. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information.
• Math Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plan. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Reasoning Skills: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
• Computer/Office Skills: Microsoft D365, Power BI, and ability to learn in-house software. Accounting Software, Basic windows/internet browser, ERP/Inventory & upgrade experience a plus, Microsoft Office Master level understanding of Excel, Word, Power Point, Typing/10-Key.

Physical demands and work environment include:

• Physical Demands: Frequent Activities: Sitting, typing, handling objects, talking/hearing. Occasional activities: Standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, Lifting/pushing/pulling up to 10 lbs. Rare activities:
• Vision Requirements: Frequent: Close vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, computer work, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision.
• Work Environment: Frequent exposure: Moderate-to-loud noise. Occasional exposure: Mechanical parts, fumes, high places, outdoor weather, electrical shock, airborne particles, toxic chemicals, very quiet-to-quiet noise or very loud noise levels.
