A nonprofit organization in New York City is currently seeking a licensed professional (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT) to join their Residential Treatment Program in Queens as their new Licensed Clinician. In this role, the Licensed Clinician will be responsible for working with adults navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges in a supportive, team-based environment.
About the Opportunity :
- Assignment Length : Ongoing
- Schedule : Monday to Friday
- Hours : 8am to 5pm (on-site only)
- Setting : Residential Substance Use Treatment Program
Responsibilities :
Provide individual, group, and family counselingDevelop and manage person-centered treatment plansCollaborate with an interdisciplinary team on care coordination and case reviewsManage crisis intervention as neededSupport discharge planning and external referralsMaintain timely, accurate documentation in the EMR system (new system launch this winter)Perform other duties, as neededQualifications :
5+ years of experience in Substance Use TreatmentMaster's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related fieldActive NYS licensure : LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFTExperience working with co-occurring mental health needs in a residential or structured settingDesired Skills :
2+ years of experience in a Lead and / or Supervisory roleCASAC certificationFamiliarity with OASAS regulations
