Schedule : 3x12s | Rotating Day / Evening / Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend (EOW), Holidays, On-Call / Callback / Charge as needed

HumanEdge Health is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Travel ICU RN to join the Burn Trauma Step Down Unit at a top-tier Level I Trauma Center in Rochester, NY . This is a fast-paced and highly specialized unit ideal for experienced ICU nurses ready to take on a rewarding challenge.

Unit Overview :

Patient population includes critically ill trauma, head trauma, burn, and surgical patients

Fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Interdisciplinary team model with opportunities to grow advanced trauma nursing skills

Ideal for RNs with trauma and / or burn ICU background

Responsibilities :

Deliver evidence-based critical care to step-down trauma / burn patients

Monitor and assess patients with complex medical needs

Administer medications and manage wound care

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff

Provide emotional support to patients and families

Ensure accurate and timely documentation

Requirements :

Active NY RN license (no exceptions)

Minimum 2 years ICU or trauma step-down experience

Burn care experience highly preferred

Medicine or surgical step-down experience acceptable

Certifications (Required) :

BLS (AHA only)

ACLS (AHA only)
