The Global Market Research & Insights team plays a pivotal role within IGT, supporting numerous internal functions and engaging directly with customersparticularly in the B2B space within the US market. This high-profile position drives success by focusing on three key areas : 1. Market Research Execution : Coordinate and deliver actionable insights from the US market research program. 2. Customer Engagement : Deliver contractual market research programs to lottery customers, building strong relationships and positioning IGT as an industry thought leader. 3. Internal Support : Provide tailored market research insights to sales and business development teams at jurisdictional levels.
Responsibilities
This position plays a critical role in driving market research excellence across internal teams and lottery customers, ensuring comprehensive insights inform business decisions. The Senior Manager will lead the development and execution of high-quality, impactful research projects that shape product strategy, customer engagement, and industry positioning. Working closely with the Senior Director of Global Market Insights and counterparts in Italy and iLottery, this role fosters a cohesive, data-driven approach to global market intelligence.
With a strategic research mindset, this role oversees vendor management, advanced research methodologies, survey design, and deep data analysis, ensuring IGT remains a market leader in insights-driven decision-making. Additionally, the Senior Manager will maintain a database of secondary market resources, integrating industry insights to enhance strategic planning. A continuous improvement mindset and a focus on technological innovation are essential to optimizing research processes and outputs.
Manage and mentor the US Market Research team, fostering a culture of data-driven innovation and excellence.
Build strong relationships across Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Business Development, ensuring market research aligns with business needs.
Lead primary and secondary market research to drive informed decision-making in product development, game strategy, marketing communications, and executive initiatives.
Innovate research methodologies to increase efficiency and depth of findings.
Manage end-to-end customer research projects, leading impactful presentations to lottery stakeholders.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with research vendors, ensuring high-quality results and cost-effective methodologies.
Lead monthly departmental meetings to share findings and success stories, promoting an insights-driven culture across teams.
Implement best practices for research processes, continuously refining methodologies for greater accuracy and efficiency.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $90,746 - $200,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
