Junior ServiceNow Adminstrator
What We're Looking For
Seeking a talented and motivated ServiceNow Administrator to join our team! ServiceNow is a cloud computing software service that provides a host of applications to our customers.
As a ServiceNow Administrator, you will assist with designing, developing, building, and customizing applications as well as provide support responsibilities to end-users of the software.
You'll work closely with other IT specialists to ensure that solutions are implemented uniformly across the network. You will thrive in this role if you enjoy a fast-paced environment and have the ability to apply a technical mindset to problem solving and current process analysis.
What You'll Do
- Administer, configure, extend, and maintain Iridium's ServiceNow platform
- Contribute to the team that is responsible for working closely with management and end-users to drive business performance through process automation
- Coordinate and work ServiceNow service requests daily, creating and updating all tickets in ticketing software; conduct follow up calls;
perform tests and troubleshooting
- Participate in Agile software development ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, and retrospectives
- Perform QA testing for system upgrades and enhancements
- Participate in creating and maintaining integrations between systems and execute new reporting requests
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent, relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree
- 2+ years' experience administering and configuring the ServiceNow platform
- Ability to configure or maintain key components of ServiceNow including groups and roles, business rules, forms, access controls, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Ability to perform maintenance activities within ServiceNow modules including ITSM (Service Catalog, Change, and Incident), Knowledge, Workplace Services, and CSM
- Experience with reporting, dashboard, and workspace creation and configuration
- Experience troubleshooting issues within the ServiceNow platform and its modules
- Experience in performing platform upgrades
Things That Would be Great if You Brought to the Table
- Experience with ServiceNow Integration Hub
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint or Teams Administration
We'll also need you to
- Be a US Citizen
- Be able to work outside of standard business hours, on occasion, as applicable
Work Environment
This position primarily works in the company office or in a home office. The position is largely sedentary with the majority of the position sitting in a chair and working with a computer.
The role uses basic office equipment including a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse and printer. For meetings in-person, this position will need to be able stand, walk within the office and climb stairs on occasion.
