$46.54 / hr - $95.24 / hr

Position Overview

This position supports the Acquisition Readiness (AR) Performance Assessment (PA) Information Technology Support Services (ITSS) contract at NSWC Corona. The Corona Division specializes in technical capability areas such as Warfare Systems Performance Assessment, Acquisition, and Readiness Assessment, providing metrics, trends, and analysis for the US Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard combat systems, fleet interoperability, and weapon systems.

This role requires a SECRET clearance; interim clearances are acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineering teams to develop AI capabilities.
• Develop text, image, and video-analysis solutions for Navy systems.
• Serve as a technical lead and collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Partner with QA to automate testing of Navy system functionalities.
• Conduct system integration and testing with engineering teams.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data performance issues.
• Launch, test, and iterate new features based on customer feedback.
• Define database structures, data types, and set up analysis software.
• Utilize software such as SIRI, APIs, JAVA, and C.
• Apply algorithm design and natural language processing techniques.
• Work with big data, statistics, and frameworks.

Additional Information

Some travel may be required, including work at various NSWC facilities worldwide and in the field (ships, test ranges, ports, open ocean, military bases).
