SUMMARY : People’s Center Clinics and Services is conducting a community needs assessment that explores pertinent health disparities and barriers to care in the Cedar-Riverside and Longfellow neighborhoods. The assessment will be conducted by the CNA intern with support from the Advancement and External Relations team to be completed by May 2026. Research may include topics like patient transportation challenges, website accessibility, substance use disorder prevalence and treatment options, gaps in integrative care systems, etc. The assessment will be used to inform People’s Center strategies in coming years in conjunction with large, over-arching health system assessments.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with an under-resourced community in a healthcare setting
• Excellent oral and written communications skills and ability to communicate with diverse patient population, community partners, and clinic staff
• Data collection and analysis
• Organizational skills with attention to detail
