Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Design Intern based in Chicago, IL .

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to :

Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.

Performs entry-level work.

Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff.

Meets required schedules while producing quality work.

Work collaboratively within a project-based team while maintaining individual accountability.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements :

Candidate must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in architecture and must have completed at least 1 year of study . Candidates who have recently graduated with a bachelor's degree and plan to continue with a master's degree are eligible to apply for these positions.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite

With a background in design and architecture, with experience spanning interior design, project management, and construction documentation.

Ability to support the development of high-quality graphics, drawings, diagrams, and other materials in support of the design development process.

Prior internship experience, with general knowledge of architectural drawings.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $21.00 / hour - $28.00 / hour.
