Key Responsibilities

Prepare and post journal entries
Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP
Collaborate with the Senior Accountant and broader finance team on ad-hoc projects

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)

0–2 years of accounting experience

Solid understanding of GAAP principles

CPA not required, but preferred

Insurance industry experience not necessary
