This is an employment opportunity for current employees within the State Personnel System. High School Diploma or its equivalent is required.

Preferences :

• Bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of FLAIR accounting system.
• Experience processing disbursement entries in Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR).
• Knowledge of trust fund investments and disinvestments.
• Experience processing journals in Florida PALM.
• Experience with system access control and password reset.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to analyze data and solve problems.
• Ability to prioritize and plan your assignments according to pressing deadlines.

This position requires a security background check, including fingerprint as a condition of employment.

Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.

Brief Description of Duties :

This is a professional position in the Office of Finance & Budget. The primary duty is to monitor and address agency Trust Fund cash investments / disinvestments as well as function as the Departmental FLAIR Access Control Custodian.
