Financial Analyst
Job Summary :
Our client is currently hiring a Financial Analyst to join their team! This is an exciting contract-to-hire opportunity to join a Fortune 80 Company and work onsite in their Livonia office.
In this role, you will be budgeting, forecasting, analyzing CapEx and OpEx spend, and conducting financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial analytics and proficiency in Microsoft Excel skills.

Duties :
- Analyze and reconcile accounts
- Prepare and annotate variance reports
- Work with operating plans to create supporting financial forecasts and budgets
- Perform research to understand the accounting consequences of alternative approaches
- Adhere to accounting and finance principles
- Present financial analysis to management
- Perform formulas, macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc. in Microsoft Excel
Desired Skills / Experience :
- 1+ years of financial analytics experience
- Experience supporting financial forecasts and budgets
- Experience with ERP, preferably SAP
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and popular financial management applications
