Cobol Developer
We have a client at Capstone IT that is seeking Cobol / Java Developers to join their dynamic team where you'll spearhead the analysis and seamless migration of financial data from various banking software systems to their premier platform.
As an integral member of our internal installation team, you'll collaborate closely with client associates, gathering essential artifacts and ensuring a smooth transition for our clients.
What You'll Bring :
- An associate degree in programming or a related field is required.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with COBOL development.
- Exceptional communication skills to convey technical specifications clearly to clients and implementation teams.
- Willingness to work onsite
Preferred Qualifications :
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Previous involvement in the banking and / or financial services sector.
- Proficiency in SQL.
Your Responsibilities :
- Utilize your COBOL expertise to develop applications that facilitate the conversion and migration of financial data to the Fiserv Premier platform.
- Conduct thorough project analysis to determine conversion and implementation requirements.
- Offer comprehensive consultation to clients throughout the entire conversion and implementation process, ensuring their needs are met at every stage.
