About the Role
The MRSS Clinical Supervisor plays a key leadership role within the Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) program. You’ll provide direct supervision, clinical oversight, and mentorship to a team of professionals delivering crisis intervention and stabilization services to children, families, and individuals across Lorain County.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, values community engagement, and wants to make a lasting impact through compassionate, high-quality care.
What You’ll Do
Supervise and lead MRSS team members, including crisis counselors and support staff
Ensure timely and effective delivery of crisis response and stabilization services
Conduct case reviews, provide clinical guidance, and promote professional growth among staff
Develop and facilitate training sessions to strengthen team skills and performance
Maintain thorough and compliant documentation aligned with agency standards
Build and sustain partnerships with local agencies, community leaders, and stakeholders
Ensure all services meet ethical, legal, and regulatory standards
What You’ll Bring
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
Active LISW or LPCC in good standing (IMFT may be considered)
At least 3 years of experience in crisis intervention or stabilization services
Proven leadership and team-building skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with Lorain County communities and comfort working across diverse neighborhoods
Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
A collaborative, positive attitude — not burnt out, but energized by teamwork and purpose
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with diverse populations
Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices
Familiarity with electronic health record systems
