Estimator - HVAC / Sheet Metal - Johnstown

Highland Consulting Group is a national executive search firm that specializes in recruiting and placing top talent for the construction industry.

We are recruiting for an experienced HVAC Estimator in Johnstown, PA area. The position is with a company that is experiencing great growth. Our client is a regional contractor that has the resources and support of multiple locations in the area. Project mix includes Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Multi-family, and Industrial. The position needs to be filled immediately. Successful candidates must have a minimum of 3 years with some combination of Estimating HVAC / Sheet Metal / Plumbing. Additional experience in Mechanical Piping is strongly preferred

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

• Development of master budgets and cost models for HVAC projects
• Provide Hard Bid Estimates of projects
• Develop and maintain cost databases
• Reviews and comments on estimates provided by others
• Provide independent estimates of change orders
• Develop pre-construction cost estimates
• Read and understand bid documents
