Job Description : Oracle Technical Architect
Location : Tallahassee FL
Duration : 12 Months
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Oracle Forms and Oracle APEX applications .
- Develop and maintain PL / SQL scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and database packages .
- Support and maintain Oracle database schemas, objects, and performance tuning .
- Configure and manage Oracle Fusion Middleware components (WebLogic Server, Oracle HTTP Server).
- Design and support data integrations and ETL processes , including data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading.
- Support integrations with PALM and FLAIR systems.
- Implement data quality checks, error handling, and monitoring for ETL processes.
- Ensure compliance of accounting practices , PCI standards , and data security requirements.
- Provide application troubleshooting, enhancements, and performance optimization.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs .
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders; mentor and support FDACS / OATS staff.
Required Skills & Experience
8%2B years of application development using Oracle Forms, Oracle APEX, and PL / SQL .Strong experience with Oracle Database development, performance tuning, and troubleshooting .Proficiency in Oracle Fusion Middleware (WebLogic Server, Oracle HTTP Server).Experience integrating applications with enterprise financial systems such as Florida PALM and FLAIR .Experience with ETL processes and data integration between internal systems, external systems, APIs, and cloud services.Demonstrated experience ensuring PCI compliance in application development.Knowledge accounting practices (technical implementation).Strong written and verbal communication skills .Preferred Skills
Experience with AIMS, FIS, and ROC applications.Experience with Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) .Familiarity with Agile development methodologies .Experience with version control systems and CI / CD pipelines .Knowledge of application and data security best practices .Experience in government or public sector environments .
