Job description

A law firm seeks a Family Law Associate Attorney for a full-time, on-site position in Columbus, OH . The attorney will manage a variety of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and spousal support matters, while providing legal advice and managing case developments.

Duties

Handle divorce, dissolution, child custody, and spousal support cases.
Prepare and file legal documents and motions.
Represent clients in court proceedings.
Conduct discovery and manage case developments.
Provide legal advice to clients.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of family law.

Experience in preparing and filing motions.

Exceptional legal research and drafting skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Effective time management and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

Active member in good standing with the Ohio Supreme Court.

Skills

Experience in family law practice is preferred.
