Compensation Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,470 - $1,570 Registered Nurse Job Details Location : Nashville, TN 37207 Unit : Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Contract Length : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM) Hours per Week : 36 Number of Positions : 2 Start Date : January 12, 2026 End Date : April 13, 2026 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Current ACLS and BLS certifications Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience Clinical proficiency with ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000 equipment Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred Ability to float to medical / surgical units as needed Must wear navy scrubs (top and bottom) MICU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver attentive and compassionate critical care to patients and families in the MICU Manage patient ratios of 2 : 1, with occasional 1 : 1 or 3 : 1 assignments based on acuity and staffing Perform advanced nursing procedures : central line insertion, arterial line placement, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD insertions Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Accurately document patient care using Meditech Participate in self-scheduling and meet minimum weekend shift requirements (4 per schedule) Float to other hospital units as required Experience the excitement of Nashville healthcare jobs while advancing your critical care nursing career in a supportive and innovative environment.
