About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Specialty : Intensive Care Unit

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 7 PM - 7 : 30 AM

Hours per Shift : 36.00

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in specialty areas

License : Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, basic dysrhythmia testing competency

Must-Have :

• Must have 2 years of experience in specialty areas.
• Must be willing to float between ICU and stepdown.
• This is a float assignment with daily staffing adjustments every 4 hours, with the potential to be assigned to a new area in 4-hour blocks of time.

Description :

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care.

Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families.

Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team.

Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of those solutions.

Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities are necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit or department.

Possesses the ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.

Demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Preferred education is a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).

No preferred certifications are required.
