Pick Up & Delivery Driver : Safely operates vehicles to transport equipment for the dealership. May instruct customers on basic equipment, operating procedures.
- Transport equipment to / from customers and or between dealer facilities
- May also pick up new equipment from a John Deere factory
- Support the sales department with equipment delivery
- Maintain accurate records for fuel consumption, mileage, and time
- Obtain necessary signatures on documentation contacts and receipts
- Hold and maintain all required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA, and company policy
- Accountable for all time and distance traveled in performing assigned duties
- Maintain and keep vehicles clean and safe working order and up-date on maintenance schedules
- Maintain a knowledge of equipment offered by the company
- Be able to safely recover broken machines with a winch and do not cause damage to property and vehicles
- Safely secure all loads in line with DOT, OSHA and company policy
Requirements :
- Class a CDL, manual transmission and airbrake
- Clean, driving record
Experience :
Commercial driving : 1 year (Required)
License / Certification :
