We are actively seeking a Network Engineer with a current TS / SCI clearance and polygraph to join our Network Services Division in Herndon, VA.  The qualified individual will have a minimum of 16 years' experience with a Bachelor's Degree (14 years' with a Master's) in one or more of the disciplines described below where specific skills may include the following…

Technical Skills

• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, etc)
• Understanding of network architecture, design, and implementation
• Experience with network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and access control lists (ACLs)
• Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
• Familiarity with network virtualization and software definite networking (SDN)

Experience

Subject Matter Expertise

o Routing and switching

o Network security (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection)

o Cloud networking e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

o Software-defined networking (SD)

o Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

o Experience with creating technical documentation, such as design documents, implementation plans and technical notes

o Skills in network protocols

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills :

Certifications :

o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or

o CCIE Cisco Certified Internetwork

o Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA) or

o Juniper Networks Certified Internet Professional (JNCIP)

o Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional
