The Market Development Representative will be responsible for engaging with potential hosts and community members to drive market growth and develop new business opportunities.

Responsibilities
Conduct market visits and on-the-ground assessments to evaluate listings, benchmark competitors, and provide actionable insights for strategic planning.Execute cold outreach to prospective and churned hosts, while developing and iterating on sales strategies, pitches, and scalable playbooks.Participate in neighborhood-level social groups, digital forums, and local communities to identify and engage potential hosts and influencers.Build and foster relationships with industry professionals, organizers, and local leaders to uncover high-leverage opportunities.Demonstrate ownership and problem-solving ability by experimenting with new strategies and rapidly prototyping operational processes.Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to refine pitches and messaging based on real-time feedback.Requirements / Must Have
Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and adaptability in dynamic environments.Excellent interpersonal skills; comfortable with outreach via calls, chats, and digital communication.Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills.Effective communication skills with a positive and authentic tone.Passion for hospitality, real estate, and the mission to build belonging and economic opportunity.Experience
3–5 years of experience in customer success, outbound sales, community engagement, or grassroots field operations.Proven background in outbound sales or grassroots operations with successful cold outreach and business development.Experience building or executing sales strategies for multi-sided marketplaces or direct-to-consumer businesses.Prior experience in startup or growth-focused environments.Industry experience in real estate, hospitality, or related fields is a plus.Skills
