ImOn Communications parent company of Danville Mutal Telephone Company is looking for a
- skilled and motivated Connection Specialist II, Connection Specialist III or Lead Connection Specialist)
- to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll be on the front lines—installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-speed internet and digital phone services for residential customers across the Southeast Market.

- What You’ll Do
- Install and service
- broadband and digital phone equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair
- service issues to keep customers connected and satisfied.
- Test and fine-tune
- signal strength and Wi-Fi performance to meet quality standards.
- Use advanced diagnostic tools
- and software systems (OSS, CMS, SMX, TruVizion, AOE, etc.) to complete your work efficiently.
- Communicate clearly and professionally
- with customers, ensuring they understand their equipment and available services.
- Work safely
- in a variety of environments—indoors, outdoors, on ladders, or in tight spaces.
- What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- (required).
- Valid driver’s license
- with a clean driving record.
- At least
- 18 months of hands-on installation or service technician experience
- (or equivalent).
- Strong
- technical and troubleshooting skills
- with internet, TV, or network systems.
- Excellent
- communication and customer service
- abilities.
- Proven ability to meet quality and efficiency goals.
- Willingness to earn the
- NCTI Advanced Troubleshooting Certification
- Bonus Points If You Have :
- Knowledge of
- fiber splicing
- or
- network architecture
- Experience with
- MDUs (multi-dwelling units)
- or
- bucket truck operations
- Additional NCTI or broadband industry certifications.
- Leadership, mentoring, or training experience.
