Deputy Chief, Business Solutions and Outreach

The Deputy Chief, Business Solutions and Outreach provides high-level leadership and operational oversight for the Office of Business Solutions and Outreach. Ensures statewide engagement of equitable delivery of business support services through Minority Business Assistance Centers (MBAC) and partner organizations. Builds strong relationships with internal teams, external organizations, and partners to expand outreach efforts and promote consistent quality service for businesses. Oversees MBAC program administration and supervises internal staff, aligning team efforts with operational standards and the Department of Development's mission to empower communities to succeed. Tracks program key performance metrics and supports continuous improvement. Aligns office goals with divisional goals and fosters operational efficiency across the MBDD offices.

This position requires you to work in the office, Monday-Friday. The job is located in the Vern Riffe building, 77 South High St. Columbus, OH 43215.
