Security Officer - Media Site Patrol - Afternoon Shift

As a Security Officer - Media Site Patrol - Afternoon Shift in Morrisville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with employees, visitors, and guests, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication at all times. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM Sun 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and perimeter, to help deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents according to established protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and / or site contacts regarding incidents, concerns, or requests.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain authorized access to designated areas.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
