2+ years of experience in an Operating Room setting

Active North Dakota or Compact RN License or willingness to obtain

Experience with General, Neuro, and Orthopedic procedures

Experience in a large hospital or level 2 facility or higher

Ability to work in a fast-paced Operating Room environment

Description :

Candidates must provide interview availability upon submission.

All clinicians must badge in and out of the facility.

Scrubs will be provided in Ceil Blue color.

Candidates with prior experience in this healthcare system must have an end date at least six months prior to their submission date.

Job duties include serving as a circulating nurse responsible for documenting and caring for patients in the operative setting.

Responsibilities involve sterile prepping of surgical sites, catheter insertion, opening sterile supplies, positioning patients for surgical procedures, and documenting within an electronic record.

Clinicians will be required to utilize and set up operating room equipment as directed.

Experience with general surgical cases, gynecology, urology, laparoscopic procedures, and neuro / orthopedic procedures is required.

Knowledge of navigation systems for neuro cases is also necessary.

The position will require 1 weekend of call every 6 weeks in addition to 1 day of the week.

Occasional late shifts may be required, classified as extensions of standard shifts rather than being deemed on-call.

Floating to other units or departments may occur but is rare.

This position will support multiple campuses within the healthcare system with 33 operating rooms available.

Cancellation policy allows for cancellation up to 12 hours prior within a 13-week timeframe.

The charting system used is EPIC.
