Responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the procurement of high-quality goods and services at the most competitive prices. The role involves collaboration with various departments to understand their needs, conducting market research, performing end-to-end RFx, and reviewing & negotiating contracts with suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive strategic sourcing strategies to meet the company's procurement needs
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and trends
- Analyze and forecast market conditions and industry trends to inform sourcing decisions
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and service
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure favorable agreements
- Draft and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Resolve contractual disputes and issues in a timely manner
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and strategies
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to indirect sourcing and procurement
- Conduct cost analysis and market benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing
- Work closely within matrixed departments and cross-functionally to understand their sourcing needs and requirements, facilitating collaboration to drive procurement efficiencies
- Communicate strategic sourcing strategies and updates to relevant stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate strategic sourcing / contract risks associated with the supply chain
- Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions in supply
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree & minimum of 7+ years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, focused in indirect sourcingProven track record of successful supplier negotiation and contract management resulting in cost savingsExperience running successful end-to-end RFxStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent negotiation and communication skillsProficiency in procurement software and toolsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsCertified Purchasing Manager (CPM) preferredBenefits Offered

Pay range (commensurate with skills and experience) : $110,000 - $125,000 annual
