What You'll Do
- Provide critical care transport nursing for complex, high-acuity patients of all ages (neonatal - not requiring isolette, pediatric, and adult) during ground ambulance missions whilst managing ventilators, vasoactive infusions, invasive monitoring, and advanced interventions.
- Lead and coordinate clinical care in partnership with paramedic and EMT crew members, sending / receiving facility teams, and medical control – ensuring seamless, safe, high-quality transport.
- Uphold Ascent's uncompromising standards of safety, documentation, and teamwork in every case.
- Participate in case reviews, quality improvement initiatives, protocol development, mentoring of new staff, and continuous professional development.
What We're Looking For
Current RN license (Idaho or eligible for Idaho reciprocity) – Critical Care or Transport Nursing experience strongly preferred.BLS, ACLS, PALS required; Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) or other specialty certifications preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in a critical care setting (ICU, ED, transport or equivalent); prior transport experience is a definite plus.Critical Care Credential (CCRN, CFRN, CEN, CTRN, etc.) preferred; required to achieve within 6 months of hireDemonstrated ability to make advanced clinical decisions, lead in high-stress scenarios, and collaborate with teams across disciplines.Motivation to grow, contribute, and be part of a program where each clinician's performance and attitude matter.Clean driving record, ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.What We Offer
