The Business Development Representative, Iron Mountain Data Centers (IMDC), role is one that requires a self-driven, creative professional with a strong desire to collaborate with the IMDC global sales team, across multiple areas of the sales process, with minimal direct supervision, to drive demand and bookings growth primarily from new logo accounts.
This newly created position is an opportunity to actively participate in developing and executing new logo prospecting strategies, structured sales outreach campaigns, and lead qualification methodologies in collaboration with the IMDC sales team.
This position will have responsibility for identifying, qualifying and prioritizing leads, scoping early stage client use cases, and the initial positioning of IMDC as a solution.
This will require the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively, while interacting with prospective clients, and with the IMDC sales team, to develop selling strategies, share progress and assess the opportunity.
The Business Development Representative will also collaborate with the wider marketing organization to follow-up on inbound inquiries, develop nurturing plans, and share feedback on local market campaign effectiveness.
While this is not a sales position, high performers may be considered for a transition to a sales role.Category : Sales
