Paraprofessionals Needed In Lancaster, CA
ProCare Therapy is currently seeking dedicated and passionate Paraprofessionals to join our team in Lancaster, CA. As a Paraprofessional, you will work closely with students in educational settings to support their academic, behavioral, and social development.
This role is ideal for individuals who are compassionate, patient, and committed to making a positive impact in the lives of students.
Responsibilities :
- Assist students with classroom activities under the supervision of certified teachers.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance.
- Reinforce lessons taught by teachers by reviewing material with students individually or in small groups.
- Help students stay focused and engaged in learning activities.
- Support students with special needs by implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs), as directed by the school team.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework preferred).
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and provide necessary documentation for employment.
