Batteries Plus is looking for an HR Business Partner to join our Corporate HR team. In this role, you'll collaborate with leaders and associates across the organization to align HR strategies with business goals. You'll serve as a trusted advisor on everything from employee relations and talent management to engagement and compliance, helping create a workplace where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow.
What You'll Do
Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and associates, guiding performance management, associate relations, and organizational development
Conduct objective investigations and recommend fair, consistent resolutions to associate concerns
Partner with Talent Acquisition to understand staffing needs, participate in interviews, and ensure seamless onboarding experiences
Coach leaders on feedback, performance reviews, and development planning
Support engagement initiatives and Batteries Plus community activities to promote a positive workplace culture
Analyze HR data and metrics to identify opportunities for process and policy improvements
Partner with leaders on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies
Maintain confidentiality while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, ideally in a Business Partner or Generalist role
Strong working knowledge of HR disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, and employment law
Experience using HRIS systems to analyze data and support business decisions
Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and discretion
SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
