Key Responsibilities :
Prepare patients for exams by taking histories and vital signs.Set up exam rooms and maintain necessary medical supplies and equipment.Administer injections and assist with lab tests and phlebotomy.Support physicians with minor surgeries and physicals.Manage incoming calls and referrals for the practice.Qualifications :
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program, OR 12 months of direct patient care experience, OR current Medical Assistant certification.Candidates without certification must obtain it within one year of hire.Recent graduates are expected to obtain clinical MA certification within 60 days of employment.Active medical assistant certification (RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA) is preferred.HCA Healthcare is committed to supporting 186 hospitals and over 2,400 sites, ensuring high-quality patient care across all services.
