This role is critical to maintaining our commitment to employee well-being and regulatory excellence.
Youll oversee all aspects of safetyfrom OSHA compliance and training to incident investigation and budget management.
Your Day to Day :
Lead Safety Programs : Develop, implement, and continuously improve regulatory and company safety programs (OSHA, NFPA, ANSI).
Policy Management : Create, review, and enforce plant safety policies and procedures.
Training Oversight : Assign, track, and report on all regulatory and safety training across the facility.
Workers Compensation : Manage cases including doctor visits, light duty assignments, reporting, and financial forecasting.
Hazard Identification : Train employees, conduct audits, develop corrective actions, and monitor progress.
Budget Control : Oversee the health & safety budget including PPE, supplies, and first aid resources.
Reporting : Prepare and present weekly / monthly safety performance reports.
Incident Response : Serve as Medical First Responder and lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and case management.
Change Management : Conduct safety reviews for Management of Change (MOC) processes.
Other Duties : Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support safety and compliance.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree and 5+ years of safety leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, NFPA standards, and Workers Compensation laws.
Proven experience in hazard recognition, incident investigation, and case management.
Certified in First Aid, AED, and CPR.
