What you will do :

• Direct and coordinate warehouse activities to ensure that customer orders can be fulfilled timely and efficiently.
• Drive efficient warehouse operations ensuring the timely receiving and storage of inbound material, the accurate selection of products for order fulfillment, and the staging and loading of trucks for outbound delivery.
• Monitor operational information, such as “mis-picks” and productivity reports, to ensure the entire shift meets rates and follows preferred methods.
• Work with the operations management team to identify sources of inventory shrink and assist in the development of an action plan.
• Oversee and develop warehouse associates through one‑on‑one coaching, training on policy and procedures, assisting in problem resolution when required, and leading by example.
• Coach on productivity and safety targets, and deliver disciplinary action.
• Participate in building high‑performing teams by interviewing and hiring warehouse personnel.
• Maintain physical condition and safety of warehouse and equipment, including preparing work orders for repairs and requisitions for equipment.
• Analyze the current operations and make recommendations on expense and cost control.
• Lead with a safety mindset by regularly inspecting the facility for safety hazards and either resolve them or report them as appropriate.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment :

Location : Brooklyn, NY

Work Hours : Monday – Friday, typical start time between 6 : 30 am and 8 am

Starting Salary : 80k
