CNC Production Technician
Location : Marion, OH
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 6 : 00am-2 : 30pm (overtime as needed)
Pay : $20+ / hour depending on experience
Employment Type : Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire
Job Summary
A growing manufacturer in the Marion area is seeking a dependable CNC Production Technician to support machining operations for a variety of custom metal components. This role involves operating both CNC lathes and CNC milling machines in a dynamic, job-shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machining equipment (lathe and mill)
- Load raw materials, set tooling, and verify machine readiness
- Read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and work instructions
- Perform offset adjustments and minor program edits as needed
- Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and precision measurement tools
- Ensure all parts meet dimensional and quality specifications
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical and tooling issues
- Maintain production documentation and keep work area clean and organized
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on CNC equipment
- Follow established shop safety procedures
