smartdept. is searching for a Business Analyst for a med-tech client located in Sunnyvale, CA . The ideal candidate will come with 5+ years of experience.
This is a full-time , hybrid , 6 -month contract opportunity with the possibility of an extension. Compensation for this position is expected to be $58 / hr - $68 / hr depending on experience level and fit.
What You’ll Do :
- Analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers.
- Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.
- Construct forecasts, recommendations and strategic / tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge.
- Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements.
- May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues.
- May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.
What You’ll Need :
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- SQL skills required (Snowflake)
- Tableau Desktop Certification preferred
- Manufacturing / Logistics domain knowledge preferred
