SAP Functional Specialists DoD

SAP Functional Consultants – Federal Focus VISA REQUIREMENTS : US Citizen required - Federal Site – No Exceptions EDC Consulting is working with a team of professionals on a continuing effort for the Department of Defense to help them develop and enhance their SAP Financials, supply chain and materials management systems, programs and capabilities and as such we have an immediate requirement for Senior SAP Functional Consultants. Those with prior federal experience are encouraged to respond. What we need right now : Candidates need to have a minimum of 6 years working in a SAP environment as a consultant, preferably in a DoD setting. The successful candidates are expected to provide business process guidance on our DoD customers SAP requirements and design. These positions require in-depth knowledge of one or more functional areas as well as relevant SAP module(s) such as Retail / RIS, POS, CAR, MM, SD, OTC, SCM, IM, EWM, P2P. Responsibilities include :

• Providing functional expertise to confirm / develop business requirements definition;
• Providing configuration, data migration, interface support, and functional support as necessary;
• Assisting in the design of interfaces, conversion programs, reports, and enhancements;
• Developing and maintaining systems documentation including business process procedures, functional design specifications, process flows, and test cases;
• Supporting development of training work products and respond to trainer questions’
• Defining user authorization requirements;
• Providing post go-live help desk support, assisting and resolving end user support problems, resolving system defects (‘break / fix’), analyzing proposed improvements or changes to the ERP solution and system; and
• Preparing / conducting briefings, demos or training sessions. Skills needed include :
• Knowledge of business process in one or more functional area being implemented
• Expertise in business requirement development and documentation
• 5-7 years of experience in design / configuration of one or more SAP modules being implemented
• Federal experience desired (DoD experience preferred)
• MUST Be Available to work On Site at a Maryland location. Basic Requirements : Citizenship : US citizen required Clearance Minimum of an Adjudicated NACLC Work Location Hybrid Remote with monthly meetings at Richmond, Virginia. Work Hours
• Onsite coverage is required M-Th from 08 : 00AM – 6 : 00PM EST. Must be willing to be on-call for remote support outside of standard business hours. Office Skills
• Must have working knowledge of the MS office suite
• Strong oral and written communication skills
