Thermoform Tooling Designer (Implement YOUR Strategy!
Are you a skilled designer that's tired of sitting in front of a computer all day? Does the prospect of active participation in the Product Design Team excite you?
How about developing your own strategies to achieve your goals? If you're looking for a well rounded designer experience, this is the job for you! Better yet, this is hybrid position allowing you to work remotely some days!
Of course, you'll use your design and CAD skills, but it's way more than that! Bardes Plastics is looking for a Thermoform Tooling Designer who has strong design skills, and leadership skills to match.

This role is critical to the success of our operation. Be part of the team that designs and analyzes new products, manufacturing capabilities, tooling needs, and troubleshoots quality control challenges.
What it takes to succeed :
You will need 5 years' experience (more is better of course), a strong work ethic and an organized approach to the job. Your CAD skills, of course, and preferably SolidWorks or ProE.
Any experience with packaging design would be a big plus! Thermal forming, CNC and CAM experience also a plus.
