As a Retirement Planning Consultant, you will assist individuals in planning for a successful retirement through engaging group and individual presentations to new and existing participants of defined contribution plans, including 401(k), 403(b), and Government 457 plans. Your analytical thinking will drive impactful conversations, helping us meet client service level agreements and achieve annual targets. You will support the Relationship Management team by establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
In this role, you will work with public employees from various locations. Candidates must be able to travel locally as required.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct Retirement Readiness Reviews and other individual meetings and group presentations, utilizing consultative expertise to enhance retirement outcomes.
Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders within your assigned territory or employer-sponsored plans.
Conduct one-on-one and group meetings both virtually and on-site, utilizing multiple technologies professionally.
Manage your meeting schedule, including travel arrangements.
Create dynamic business plans and strategies to drive positive retirement outcomes for participants.
Document interactions within Salesforce, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Meet individual and plan-level goals to achieve service level agreements and business results.
Participate in external meetings such as client meetings and sales finals as needed.
Collaborate with internal teams to enhance effectiveness and service delivery.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
3 - 5 years of relevant financial services experience.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
A strategic thinker with the ability to work independently.
Excellent relationship-building and territory management skills.
FINRA Series 6, 63, and 65 registrations required within an established time frame; current registrations preferred.
FINRA fingerprinting required upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications :
Familiarity with Salesforce.
Understanding of successful retirement planning principles.
Basic knowledge of defined contribution plans.
Experience providing high-level consultative client interactions.
What We Offer :
Salary Range :
$77,900.00 - $110,000.00. Actual compensation will be based on geographic location, experience, education, licensure, and skills.
