Job Overview

Schedule : 10-hour hospital shifts (Mon - Sun). Rotation with 3 APPs and 4 Physicians for inpatient work.

• Continuing education on Palliative Care topics for Saint Alphonsus health care providers. Candidates must be passionate about meeting patients' health needs, and they must have demonstrated proficiency in comprehensive assessment, care planning, symptom management, problem solving and interdisciplinary teamwork. The Palliative Medicine APP will work with members of interdisciplinary teams, collaborating daily with Palliative Medicine physicians, other Advanced Practice Providers, RNs, social workers, chaplains, pharmacists, rehabilitation therapists and other providers. The Palliative Medicine APP will practice in accordance with the applicable scope and standards of practice and within the policies, values, and mission of the Saint Alphonsus Health System.
