Leasing Agent

Overview Lifestyle Apartments at Syracuse is looking for a Leasing Agent to present and lease units to qualified candidates.

As a Leasing Agent you will be responsible for leasing apartments to prospective residents. This includes following up with assigned prospects, showing units, and assisting with applications and online registration.

The ideal candidate is initiative-taking and drives projects through to completion. The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment is key, but so is a sense of camaraderie : our team values working collaboratively.

Humble someone with experience who can learn and grow Hungry someone who wants drive results, create new standards and who constantly wants to improve Smart someone who is people and business smart and able to collaborate well with a diverse team of people Compensation and Benefits Base Salary : $45K + commissions Bonus Pool paid quarterly Eligible for year-end and performance bonuses Generous PTO policy Schedule : Full Time;

Monday-Friday 8a-5p; possible Saturdays depending on business needs About you : 2+ years’ experience in a customer-contact capacity or customer-service role is preferred Past real estate leasing experience preferred High level of energy and a people person who enjoys communicating with prospective residents Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook Excellent communication and negotiation skills Willingness to work flexible schedule - specifically weekends and weekdays after 5pm Yardi experience is a plus Core Responsibilities : Included but not limited to : Present properties and provided amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants to help secure rental agreement Maintain awareness of apartment inventory, pricing, and availability Sell prospective residents on the unit features, company service, and signing a lease Confirm rental application data and personal references to ensure accuracy Coordinate with Property Manager and / or Leasing Manager on unit availability and grounds upkeep Ensure proper maintenance and inspect properties periodically to maintain our level of company standards Lifestyle Apartments at Syracuse Powered by JazzHR
