Liberty Behavioral & Community Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Intake Clinician to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for clients seeking services, responsible for conducting comprehensive intake assessments and facilitating access to mental health resources. Your empathetic approach will help clients navigate the often-challenging process of seeking help, ensuring they feel supported and understood.
Key Responsibilities :
- Intake Assessments : Conduct detailed intake interviews and assessments with new clients to gather relevant information regarding their mental health history, presenting concerns, and treatment goals.
- Facilitate Access : Guide clients through available service options, helping them understand their rights, responsibilities, and the various programs we offer.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all intake assessments, adhering to agency policies and compliance standards.
- Collaboration : Work closely with clinical staff and other professionals to ensure seamless referrals and continuity of care for clients.
- Follow-Up : Conduct follow-up calls to assess client needs and satisfaction with services, ensuring clients feel supported even after the initial intake process.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Addiction Counseling.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Engage in case management activities to coordinate care and resources for clients.

Requirements :
Recognition as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by the BCBA with an assigned certification numberMaster’s degree in social work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.Valid licensure as a clinician in the state of practice.Proficiency in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Addiction Counseling, and Clinical Counseling techniques.Experience with medical documentation and maintaining medical records.Strong skills in data collection and analysis related to client outcomes.Knowledge of case management practices and home community care principles.Ability to effectively manage crises and provide immediate support when needed.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on building rapport with clients.Previous experience in mental health intake or assessment.Licensed LMFT (Preferred)Education : Master’s degree in social work, Psychology, or a related field.
Maintained certification with the BCBASkills : Proficiency in computer applications and electronic health records.License : Current relevant state licensure (LCSW, LPC, or equivalent).Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Benefits
