Patient Services Specialist

Under the direction of the PAS supervisor / manager, the Patient Access Representative is responsible for assisting patients during the on-site registration and arrival process for scheduled and unscheduled visits as well as completing financial clearance functions. Preferred Qualifications :

• Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration.
• 3 years experience within Patient Access of Business office setting.
• Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
• 3 years utilization of medical terminology in job setting.
• Knowledge in medical billing codes.
• 1 year knowledge of Epic Applications.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby / on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
