Assertive Professionals is seeking a Quality Assurance Linux Administrator to support a National Security Customer near Hanover, MD

This is a funded and immediate position!

The salary for this position is $120,000 , which includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus $2,000 in reimbursable relocation expenses , and a $1,200 annual compliance bonus

Position Description

This role provides support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. Responsibilities include monitoring and resolving issues with client / server / storage / network devices, supporting hardware problems, configuring and managing Linux operating systems, and scripting to improve system stability and deployment efficiency.

• Support for IT system implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Hardware problem resolution
• Configure and manage Linux OS and install software
• Create bash scripts for system stability and deployment
• Manage daily IT system operations
• Provide Tier 1 help desk support, problem diagnosis, and resolution
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization
• Perform system capacity analysis and planning
• Provide detailed feedback on escalated tickets
