Description : Position Overview :

The Central Deployment Team Lead will be responsible for managing and executing the end-to-end deployment of approximately 30,000 field devices as part of Client's Field Area Network (FAN) migration from the legacy NetComm network to a new Private LTE / 5G network. This role requires strong technical and operational expertise across network deployment, RF coordination, stakeholder engagement, and material logistics.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead FAN Device Migration Efforts :
• Act as the primary lead for coordinating and executing the migration of FAN devices across various categories, ensuring adherence to schedule, quality, and technical standards.
• Develop Deployment Job Packages :
• Support the creation and refinement of device-specific job packages that guide field teams in installation and configuration activities.
• Coordinate Testing Strategy :
• Assist in the planning and execution of lab and field-based device testing to validate network compatibility and performance.
• RF Engineering Coordination :
• Collaborate with RF engineers to review site-specific RF coverage plots, validate RAN coverage assumptions, and assess their impact on device migration planning.
• Coverage & Site Validation :
• Validate that field devices have adequate network coverage for LTE / 5G connectivity based on RF modeling and testing outcomes.
• Stakeholder Engagement :
• Liaise regularly with internal groups, including Distribution Engineering, Apparatus, and Operations teams, to align on field processes and technical requirements.
• Operational Process Development :
• Provide technical input to support the creation of field deployment and operational processes for each device type.
• Deployment Readiness & Logistics :
• Manage the full material lifecycle including :
• Ordering of required materials and components
• Inventory management and stocking of devices and supplies
• Device configuration and functional testing prior to deployment
• Coordinating timely packaging and shipment of devices to field locations

Team Coordination :

Work collaboratively with cross-functional project and deployment teams under the guidance of the Lead PM to ensure smooth execution.

Documentation & Reporting :

Prepare technical documentation, project updates, and reports related to deployment status, device readiness, and migration milestones.
