Job Purpose And Scope
Responsible for assisting with the development, execution, and ongoing evolution of analytical solutions for the Bank. Implements and maintains reporting procedures in accordance with Bank policies and the Data Governance Framework. Communicates and presents reporting findings and provides guidance to the Central Credit Administration Manager and other departments within the Bank.
Essential Job Functions
Engages in a range of activities regarding portfolio analytics to facilitate the maturation of Bank data and the Data Governance function.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of financial analysis principles and practices. Ability to demonstrate proficient technology skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, SQL Query for data extracts and structured report development through SSRS, Power BI or similar tools. Ability and desire to learn and use analytical software such as SAS, R, Python, or SQL. Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions to make recommendations and communicate effectively with others in an understandable manner. Ability to demonstrate sound judgment in actions and decision-making. Ability to organize work effectively and follow through on work activities and deliverables. Ability to multi-task and work effectively with exacting deadlines. Ability to demonstrate flexibility and evolve with an ever-changing environment.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, economics, business or data analytics, information systems, business or related field, or commensurate work experience, required. Minimum of (2) years of work experience in a data analytics and / or financial analysis role required. Prior experience developing and executing queries and / or reporting for data sets required. Prior experience documenting procedures, development process flows and diagrams preferred.
