American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float position, requiring a MO or compact RN license and ICU experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a short-term acute care hospital settingFloat between multiple ICUs including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac / Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine, and COVID unitsMay float to inpatient floors as needed with a maximum ratio of 1 : 3 for non-ICU unitsICU nurse-to-patient ratio is 2 : 1 on all shiftsNight shift position working three 12-hour shifts from 18 : 45 to 07 : 15Every other weekend is requiredUse of Epic EMR system; Epic experience requiredScrub color is navy blueDuties include floating between critical care units and inpatient floors as assignedMay be asked to work as a patient sitter if neededCandidates may be floated to affiliate hospitals nearbyPreferred skills include Swans-hemodynamic interpretation, IABP, Impella, ECMO, vasoactive drips, CRRT, trauma experience, PA lines, triage, and Level 1 Trauma experienceMust complete required modules prior to start dateNavy blue scrubs are requiredFree parking is providedNo medical marijuana cards acceptedNo more than 7 days of requested time off allowed per 13-week contract and none during the first weekCandidates must be able to complete fit testing for N95 or equivalent\n \n Requirements\n
