This position will work approximately 25 hours per a week. The schedule will be Monday - Friday 9 : 00 a.m. - 3 : 00 p.m.
This position is responsible for pickup and delivery of all mail (inbound, outbound and inter-office) from the US Postal Service and throughout the Belo campus utilizing the company mail van.
Responsibilities include :
- Operates company vehicle for the pickup and delivery of mail, packages and supplies for the US Postal Service and various Belo locations on an assigned schedule.
- Maintains vehicle operating records and reports needed maintenance and repairs. Responsible for minor and routine maintenance including refueling, tire pressure, oil replacement, water levels and battery operation.
- Assists with sorting and delivery of mail during high volume projects or staff coverage.
- Performs related duties as assigned which may not be specifically listed in the job description, but which are within the general occupational series and responsibility level associated with the incumbents class of work.
